About the Artist

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Ziffy has always had a real passion for art but especially where it involves using his imagination. The compulsion to bring characters to life has stemmed from his love of reading fantasy as a boy, beginning with the Roald Dahl stories and moving on through authors JRR Tolkien and Jack L Chalker.

Different periods of his life have given him the opportunities to work in totally separate areas of expressing himself through art.

Ziffy has worked as a signwriter, has painted wall murals and created racing cars for many a child’s bed. He has also created many designs for Tattoo Flash under the influences of tattooist, Filip Leu.

Other artists who have provided inspiration to his work are Australia's Jeff Hook and Derek Riggs. Ziffy also loves to create the characters and storylines for entire cartoons.

With the development of the Tude Shifter series, Ziffy has been able to centre his passion and talents on this great project.
